We are proud to be one of the largest NHS providers for orthodontic care in our local area, and have short or no waiting lists.
NHS treatment is available to eligible patients under 18 years and is intended to provide treatment for those patients who require it on the grounds of health. Such problems include severe protrusion of the teeth, severe mal-alignment or crowding of the teeth and congenitally missing teeth.
Treatment for minor problems or cosmetic reasons alone is not usually available on the NHS. NHS orthodontic treatment is subject to an NHS assessment by an orthodontic specialist.
Every child under the age of 18 is entitled to an NHS orthodontic examination, if you are concerned about your child’s teeth, we ask that you get a referral from your dentist for an NHS orthodontic assessment in order to determine their eligibility and need for treatment.
NHS treatment is carried out to a high standard. However, it is generally only available between 10.00-3.00pm and may not be available during school holidays.
For those patients not eligible for NHS treatment, we would be more than happy to discuss our other options of affordable, private care and their various finance schemes.
